The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking. By using this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Agreement The Company enters into this Agreement as principal for Bookings made for the hotels it owns and as agent where a Booking is made for a hotel that it operates on behalf of the Hotel Owner. The booking confirmation will clearly state the identity of the Owner. In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

• “The Agreement” is your Booking Confirmation and the Terms and Conditions.
• “The Company” is Akuna Matata
• “The Hotel” is the premises for which your Booking is made.
• “The Owner” is the Owner of the Hotel as mentioned on the booking confirmation
• “The Booking(s)” includes accommodation and meals included in the chosen package.
• “The Guest(s)” is the person, company, organization or other body responsible for making the Booking

Guarantee Policy You will be asked to provide a credit card (or debit card) at the time of the Booking to secure your reservation. Where a full payment is required in advance, by Booking you are authorizing the debiting of the card provided. The credit card used at the time of booking must be presented by the guest together with positive identification upon check-in at the property. Only Visa & Master cards or any other card endorsed by these brands will be accepted. Any other card holder may contact the reservation desk directly to confirm the reservation. Upon departure from the property, all fees for services rendered shall be payable by the guest and where necessary the credit card will be debited by the property for the fees. The property shall debit the credit card for all cancellations, no shows or for any damages caused by the guest to the property howsoever arising. This transaction constitutes an electronic transaction and a binding agreement in terms of which the guest authorises the property to debit the credit card as stated above and the guest's written signature shall not be required for authorisation purposes. Cancellation Policy Each rate booked at a Akuna Matata property is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a penalty charge as detailed in the Cancellation Policy of the rate booked. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations under the circumstances where it appears that a customer has provided an invalid credit card, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or the reservation contains or resulted from a mistake or error. In addition, we also reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not adhere to our Terms and Conditions. If a guest chooses to shorten their stay or check out early, a penalty charge will apply, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy associated with the rate booked. In the cases of the aforementioned booking cancellations, Akuna Matata has no obligation to guarantee new available bookings or best rates. A new booking at the best available rate will need to be made by the guest at the time of the new reservation. As a condition of using this website, you agree to provide proof of payment to the hotel reservations department within 48 hours of the time of booking and will indicate the reservation confirmation number on the proof of payment. You will be fully responsible for any banking fees and/or costs required to complete the bank fund transaction(s). Furthermore, you acknowledge that the reservation may be cancelled by the hotel if proof of payment is not submitted to the hotel within the 48-hour notice period. You will be responsible for any cancellation or no show penalties that might be incurred and hereby acknowledge that booking and personal contact information provided is correct for the hotel’s validation purposes. If cancelled up to 10 days before date of arrival no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Web Site Information While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on this website the Company do not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on this site without notice. Please note that in certain circumstances, generic photographic images have been used to represent the general style of a particular product or hotel. he content of this website is the copyright of the Company, and may not be copied, reproduced, published, distributed or amended for any other purpose without our prior written consent. Trade marks used on the website are the property of the respective Owners. Liabilities For the avoidance of doubt, as there will be no contractual agreement between you and Company, as Company will process your personal data as the data processor of the Hotel and as Company does not control or verify the hotel information that hotels submit to this website (including, without limitation, the availability of rooms), Company shall neither be liable for (i) the accuracy of any hotel information shown on this website, including, without limitation, the availability of rooms; nor for (ii) any failure or delay in the transmission of any data submitted to this website, including but not limited to the details of your reservation, changes to or a cancellation of your reservation. Governing law These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of India
